This page documents the single SMS program operated by Clockwork eCommerce, how consent is obtained for it, and how a recipient stops messages. It exists so our messaging practices are publicly verifiable.
We operate one SMS program. It is an automated monitoring service that watches our Shopify applications and sends a short alert when a merchant store becomes stuck and needs manual intervention.
Who receives these messages
The business owner of Clockwork eCommerce, on their own mobile number. There is exactly one recipient. We do not send SMS to merchants, customers, or any third party.
Message frequency
Only when a fault is detected — fewer than 100 messages per month, and often none at all.
Sample message
Stuck shop alert
Message content
Deliberately generic. No merchant names, store URLs, customer data, or personal information are ever sent by SMS; the detail is delivered by email instead.
Consent is verbal and direct. The sole recipient is the business owner, who configured this alerting on their own systems, using their own phone number, for their own operational use. There is no public sign-up form, no purchased or rented list, and no third party is enrolled — so no web opt-in flow exists to screenshot.
No one else can be added to this program. The destination number is fixed in our monitoring configuration and is not user-supplied.
Reply STOP to any message to end them immediately. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the address below. Because there is a single recipient, opting out disables the program entirely.
Message and data rates may apply.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or transactional SMS to merchants or consumers through any Clockwork Apps product. This program is strictly internal system monitoring.
